Hmm that sounds awkward. Are you using the latest patch of VDJ Pro?
There have been some patches that had some glitches, so getting the latest update would prolly help.

I had the same problem with Tracktor timecode. There’ll be something in the menu setting to set it back to normal play, I don’thave it anymore so ca’tn check what the option was and I haven’t used Serato so don’t know the menu is like. It was a pain when it happend as I was setting up for a gig and it took me ages to find the solution. Sorry I can’t be more help but look in the vinyl mode section and just check and uncheck until you get normal playback

Usually if the track is playing backwards then the RCA cables are connected in reverse (white into red, red into white) or the cables are wired the wrong way round on the turntable. Try switching them round and see what happens. There’s usually something in the settings as well to switch the left and right channel of the input around, maybe check to see if its been accidentally enabled?

well i fixed the Reverse issue on my vinyls but for some reason now, when i try to scratch or move the platters on deck b back and forth, i get a pixelated garbled noise, and the track will only go forward. could this just show that Serato cv02 vinyl just play well with Virtual dj pro 7?

I have used Serato CV02 vinyl with Virtual DJ before with no problems, and know of many other people that have done the same thing, so its not the vinyls.

Have you tried all of the steps in this guide? http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/TimeCode%20Config.html
I think that the problem might be that your gain is either too high or too low.

yes i have, and now i get a grbbled sound everytime i try to scratch. i also found out that the cartridge on deck b’s headshell is out of wack so now i have to get that replaced in order to cue correctly.

as for my audio problem im guessing it’s iether a) serato vinyl B) my controller acting as the sound card or c) my laptop’s horrid processing power…though hopefully upgrading to windows 8 will fix that.
