Ops, I dunno why I said I have two of RP8000s when I only have one (can’t afford the second one yet, rip) Also, why I can’t find the edit button for my created topic? ;o

You should be able to do it. However most likely your setup is not set up correctly.
There is a setup guide for the RP-8000 in the long manual you can download from the reloop website. I would suggest you get that and follow the steps on how to setup to the letter. It is very important that the amplification, tone arm pressure etc. is all setup correctly for DVS to work flawlessly.

Other things that could go wrong:
Your needle is already deteriorated and needs replacing.
Your tone arm got a hit and there is something wrong.
Too much or too low tone arm pressure
Audio settings in the software not setup correctly

DVS is a fine tuned machine and has a lot of upkeep costs associated with it. Hence why I do not use it anymore, I have my setup for “fun play” at home, but on stage I use my controller exclusively now, since I can do the same scratch moves anyways.

Thanks for the reply Terry! Glad to know it’s not supposed to work like this lol :p

The tonearm SHOULD be installed correctly as far as I can tell. Same goes for Seratos settings. I can’t really tell if my tonearm has damaged, it seems all fine to me. I guess the next step is to get new needle and see if that makes any difference. I’m gonna need more of them anyways so yeah..

Indeed, I used to buy them in packs of 25 I think was the package size of Orthofon.
