Thanks Erick, that looks really good. I think I would surely have a place for every song in the 3 bundles.
Do they give any access to a back catalogue releases?
And what is your experience with it, does it cover most of the music needed for parties? And would you have to look for much more elsewhere?
I’m just trying to compare it with another place http://www.zipdj.com/index.php
I might even consider going for the 2, would that be a bad choice?
And the most important question, is it hard to get aproved? I know they state that we must be working DJ’s, but don’t play in a venue regularly, just about 2 or 3 gigs a month. I have proof that I am a DJ, as I’m listed in an agency, but as I said, no proof of regular gigs, just random calls, and some friends parties. Should I mention all of that, and may it be good enough?

The reason I ask, is because some pools even have a rule that you must provide a tracklist and reviews of how the crowd reacted etc…

    Cheers.

I can only comment about the CD Pool Sixpack that I’ve been using for 6 months now.
When you start subscribe I think I was able to d/l the last released package. I’ve never asked but maybe it’s worth a try if you can have access to older releases.
I like very much the randomness of the songs. Honestly I’ve came across songs that I liked very much and probably I would have missed if it wasnt for this service.
They never asked and I have never needed to prove that I’m a real DJ or not.
The songs are in 320 kbs quality and (since we are talking about ddj) most of the time traktor analyse them perfectly so almost no extra work required on them.

I just noticed that I managed to copy the same url 2 times so here is the other link I was supposed to post:
    http://www.cdpool.com/
I’ve never used this one but I know Ellaskins (djtutor) on youtube has posted some videos about this service and he use it as well.

For now anyway, I’ve subscribed to ZipDJ and masspool and I’m very happy with them, ZipDJ being a bit better.
I’m exhausted from going through all the tunes, my library is overloaded. Sleepless nights of listening lol, and I’m even getting to like new styles of music too. I will defo give CDpool a try at some stage, as I like what they have and as you say it is great to not only get random songs, but their all good and there’s no doubt I’d miss some of them by browsing sites. But I’ll wait until I start getting more gigs, paying for the 3 would be a bit costly at the moment.
The collection I would normally DJ with is laughable compared to what I’ve discovered over the last few days. And I had no problem getting onto both of them, both of the sites asked for no information.
ZipDJ has 1 annoying bit though, You must download the songs as soon as there is no more than 300 MB, 2 of the batches failed so far and you only get 1 attempt.
I think I’m sorted for now anyway, I think this will greatly improve my line of work.

    Thanks.
