    MY wife and I work together. I call her my ‘roadie’ lol. except because she has a pace maker she cant carry the speakers, (magnets and pace makers are bad enemies). But song selection and working the decks so I can have break she does very well.

    My wife has come with me to my first gig in the DC area. She helped carry a few things, made sure I had all my gear. Helped keep me calm – I was a bundle of nerves 🙂

    Thats Cool. My wife does the same with keeping me calm. Also she helps too. Nice:) Thanks Daryl for sharing

    When I work in the evening my wife would make me a nice meal, calm me down, tell me it’s gonna be ok and give me a big hug. When she comes to events she brings at least 5 to 10 friends with. And she gives me feedback on new songs I dig…

    Oh yeah and she trusts me when I work, you know how we can get surrounded by girls as DJ’s, it takes a lot of love from them to cope with the girls being around us all night…. 🙂

    My ex used to bartend on all the clubs I played at. I got her bar-tending gigs and vice versa. It was sick!!

    My girlfriend DJs with me sometimes, mainly at weddings and corporate events where the need to mix isn’t so important. I also get her to open for me at some of the bars that I play.

    She has a fantastic record collection that I am very jealous of. She just needs to work on her mixing a bit so she has more confidence when playing out. Her taste and timing are on point though.

    My girlfriend MC’s at some of my gigs! We have been working on a couple hip hop projects with another friend of ours so she raps her stuff and hypes up the crowd.
