Hi Gary, and welcome to the forums!

There is no lower- or upper age limit for having fun. And DJing is just about that – having fun, and giving a good experience to your audience. Your age only comes into question if there are health concerns in play, but knowing your own limitations will probably take care of that for you.

If you’d like to brush up on techniques and basic knowledge, just to get on the same page as “everyone else”, I highly recommend the DJ courses here aimed at beginners. It’ll give you a simple and logical rundown of what’s what in todays world of digital DJing.

We’d love to hear more about your journey, so keep us updated – and don’t be afraid to use the forum to ask questions and dig into the dirty details of DJing.

    Best of luck!

    – Tord

    Hey Man
No Age doesn’t matter in Djing we r all connected somehow whether it be in person or thru here at parties people don’t really pay attention to the DJ they just ask what music they want to be played.

    Best of luck with it

<Note from moderator> Had to manually rewrite your text because it was in ALL CAPS. The alternative was to trash your reply which I chose not to do. Please be aware that ALL CAPS is considered shouting and thus very impolite and disrespectful. As such also in violation of posting guidelines. Please keep this in mind for future postings and help make our moderator lives easier.

Tip: Your text becomes much more readable if you use punctuation and the odd paragraph or new line.
