And the first Modern Warfare game is also a classic.

Add one more life long gamer to the mix here. I also played a little pong with the cousins and later that year I got an Atari 2600. Been playing video games ever since. I now try to play Call of Duty: BLOPS 2, but with all the lag, head glitching, etc. it’s very unplayable. I think the Call of Duty franchise may officially make me retire from playing video games unless God of War (PS3 player here) changes my mind and then it’s no longer Multiplayer games for me.

I used to play Xbox 360 too, but only cared to pay for Xbox Live for one year. And for the record, I never saw a difference with the game play for either PS3 or Xbox related to lag or MS having better servers. I still experienced the same issues with lag and other programming problems with Call of Duty series. And it’s not my internet connection either. It was a few of us that have the same gripes LOL.

I may just go back to playing Sony’s Warhawk..LOL if anyone is still playing that 5 year old game.

I too started with pong… then progressed to Atari 2600, NES, Super NES, PS1, PS2, PS3. Big fan of the PS2 Hitman Series. Also the Ace Combat Series.

Coltrane you should come back to Warhawk. Anytime I log on day or night, there are dozens of servers of players blasting away at each other.

I used to be a hugely avid gamer.

Back in 2000s i was huge into Counterstrike, even went competitive and won a few tournaments and was in a semi-pro CS league LOL yup i am that NERDY!

Now I just play on my PS3, MW3, BOps 2, BF3…Love my FPS games 😀

Goldfingers check out Starhawk….its freakin crazy how intense the multiplayer is…but usually sucks since it is team based and its rare you get on a good team.

LMAO @ folks still playing Warhawk. I think my Warhawk buddies gave Starhawk a go when it first came out, but that didn’t last too long. They’re all playing Black Ops 2 and other games. Every now and then I’ll jump on Battlefield 2 (don’t care for BF3 any more) and play 10 minutes.

The only thing about coming back to Warhawk is that the planes own the game, and it’s been a while since I played that game and was a force in the air. Never became an Ace with flying backwards…lol.

I’m going to ask my buddies (former Warhawk clan) why they all stopped playing Starhawk…LOL. I swear they played the game for a couple of weeks and quit.

Yeah i stopped playing Starhawk myself lately. The Pay to Win aspect of the game is what is really turning me off now.

I usually only play the flying battles but i started trying out the other battles and you need to do micro transactions in order to get the best stuff.

I now just stick with Black Ops 2 its my goto game when my trigger finger is itchy and ive had enough time on the decks

Get on league of legends ddjt crew, it’s free, not pay-to-win, and a blast. It’s room-based, and I’ve been playing it for over 18 months now and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. It’s how I kill time when the creative juices aren’t flowing.

Sometime around Thanksgiving, I put BLOPS 2 up for adoption so I’m sure it’s found a new home by now. I did manage to stick with MW3 for a few months, but it went back to the store for a trade in eventually. I could only stand to play BLOPS 2 for 3 weeks before I took it back to Gamestop and purchased an iTunes card to buy more music. LOL

I know MW2 had it’s moments with the constant noob toobing, lag, hacking and head glitches, but MW3, BLOPS1 (not so much) and BLOPS2 took lag and head glitching to a new level!!! Instead of wasting time and bursting my blood vessels playing those games I know channel that energy towards finding songs that mix well with each other and the like.

BTW, as for the lag I did try all the tricks of the trade to get the game to function with minimum lag, but none of the tricks worked. The game was simply unplayable for me and a few of my friends. Even my former Warhawk buddies were complaining about the lag, but they’re still playing BLOPS 2 LOL
