I’ve learnt the piano for 11 years, basically for as long as I can remember and still going! I’d also played the French horn for around 6 years in school (lol). It was okay because I got a scholarship for it, paid for the majority of my school fees but I quit the second I graduated… Wasn’t really something that I liked talking about…

My greatest gift my parents gave me (after life, love, food and lodging of course) was paid piano lessons from page 7 forward. That has sustained so many musical avenues it’s incredible. When you know chord theory and structures you could pick up any instrument and learn it with ease.

I’ve been playing electric guitar for almost 11 years now. Played in a punk rock/rock ‘n’ roll band from 2002 to 2006, but all of us outgrew the genre so we decided to call it a day. Since then I’ve only been playing solo in my bassment. Gotta say I miss playing in a band sometimes.

Also, I’ve always wanted to play bass guitar, but I don’t think that would be a smart move ’cause I remember having a pretty serious case of G.A.S. back in the day 🙂

been singing for 14 years and playing the guitar for 18 years.

It helps me a lot for recognizing good voices and melodies 🙂

I’ve learned the basics of playing just about every single instrument an averige person can name, played guitars[aqustics and electrics] for about 2 years and got tired of my left hand fingers suffering so i moved onto Accordion, actually went to music school for the accordion.Everything else i was self taught but the accordion i actually got lessons for and am still actively practicing playing, when im not at the pc with my mixtrack infront of me.

Played keyboards for about 8 years. Lost most of the agility in my fingers, but I’m still able to play some chords.
My teacher always stimulated me to build my own presets, arrangements and such which got me interested in (producing) electronic music. And it taught me how to play drums using plastic keys, haha!

I play keys and well of course turntables. Started with cello in grade school followed by sax, alto and tenor for a few years till after 9th grade when I quit all music for sports (dumb). It wasn’t till I started djing in 2001 when I wanted to produce and so the love of keys and piano came to be. I do play the keys live for my sets as well as do instrumental style of scratching. Have payed in a dnb band but run solo again these days.

I learned the piano when I was in 3rd-4th grade. Then took up the bugle and tuba in high school JROTC.
