Do I need a DJ name…..

I keep saying to people about names:
1. Yes you need a DJ name
2. There is nothing wrong with choosing your own name (or part of it) as a DJ name, but stick with it.
3. There is no reason to put DJ in front of your DJ name. For example: I am Terry 42 and not DJ Terry 42.
4. If your own name is really generic, go with something else.
5. But ask people you know before sticking with it…
