    If you can midi map it so you can change which deck it focuses on then in theory yes. Not the ideal setup but possible if you can map it.

    no need for midi mapping, or maybe there is and i misunderstood your answer…?!

    i mean, can you dj using JUST a cdj 350? (or 2000 for that matter). in serato it’s called instant doubles…

    i’m imagining it might be possible on the new pioneers because they read usb sticks. so maybe it can play one from the stick and you can select another one from the stick and mix it into the 1st one…
    anyone?

    There is no “instant doubles” type feature when using the CDJ without software.

    If you are just using a mixer and a CDJ-350 you have exactly that….a mixer and one deck.
    (IE: you can’t mix a file off a cd and a usb stick at the same time even though it has multiple playing formats.
