On the budget you seem to be shopping for, I would really recommend Zomo 1200.

I recently was shopping for a pair of spare headphones as I have some high-end Sennheisers, but I like to bring a second pair, just in case.
So I went through several Headphones (testing in the shop) like the Pioneer 500s, Aerial7 Tanks,… when a friend came in and said “hey test my Zomo’s”.
I was really blown away by the sound. I have a rather bid head, but the cups are large and you can adjust them, so that they even feel very comfy for me. But again, the sound is just stunning. Very good base through the large driver, clear highs that do not break down or clip even at high volume and well rounded mid’s (my largest critique on most under 100 bucks headphones) that again hold up even at very high volumes.
Plus through their color options, they look really spiffy 🙂
They come with all the standards: 1 spiral cable, 1 straight cable, big jack adapter and soft carry bag.

I really dig those headphones, maybe they are something to check out for you.

Phil tested those, I think –

you also might consider one of those, though I cannot tell their advantages or disadvantages, but since you have to test them anyway…

for a bit more, you’re in the range of the famous Sennheiser HD25s

(though I personally do not like them, since they sit ON the ears ,not surrounding them – but there’s a $hitload 😉 of people who love them, so… )
