Dinner is a notoriously nasty time 😀 . I’d say pick well know happy-ish tunes (feel good music) that has a relatively low energy level. As long as heads are bobbing from time to time and the occassional foot is tapping you are in the clear. Something else of course is a bit of lounge music.

Cause really there is no vibe to keep going when people sit down to eat. They want to eat and talk. If the music is too loud or too obvious, it’s usually a bad thing.

Just my two cents as always.

If the clients are very mixed age wise and you do not know what to do:
    Brian Eno: Music for Airports
It is the default go to chill music.

Or some funk (Fred Wesley) and a bit of soulful house (Detroit Swindle).

Just play some good soft tones at your Greek Formals.
