Ditto – it has an interesting sound to it, so if that is already a nickname you are already known by – run with it!

Maybe call it Boffaz instead of Buffaz so you don’t have to correct people’s pronunciation all the time?
Personally, I’m not a fan of switching s to z: i.e., skillz, thrillz, etc. I usually see this type of spelling used by suburban kids trying too hard to be “Street.” I’m not saying this is who your are or what you’re trying to do, but the connotation is there, and it might not be something you want.

    Thirded…DJ is too 90’s.

Definitely change the ‘u’ to an ‘o’ if it’s pronounced ‘Boffaz’

Thanks for your help guys… Yeah its true DJ is quite 90’s 🙂

hehe no im not really going for the fake badboy sound in my name 🙂 this is just the way its always been spelled by my friends so thats why i kept it that way.. i can understand the pronouncation bit, but im not really sure if i want to change it so its Boffaz…

Maybe it’s just because I actually am from the 90’s, but I don’t get all the fuss people make about having (or not having) DJ at the start of a name. Whether you choose to add it or not, promoters will add it or delete it all the time regardless. Sometimes I get dj Oddity, sometimes I just get Oddity, if there are two of us we’ll probably get DJs OtherGuy & Oddity, but maybe not. As long as they get the actual name part right I could care less if someone adds the “dj” or not…

I feel the same as Tony. I don’t want DJ anywhere near my name(s). I make sure the promoter is always 100% aware of how to print my name.
