    I also think it’s a perspective thing. I think Fatboy Slim isn’t a very good technical DJ, but he’s an amazing programmer (as in song selection). You can’t take these lists seriously though.

    it is a popularity chart not a talent one, there are many guys who didn’t make it that can fill stadiums.however it is also a dedication chart.trance fans are more dedicated than minimal tech house fans(just an example)

    IMO the list is really a Top Producer List …..and in that case in 2012 I could see Fatboy Slim being #135.
