    Both good headphones. It prolly comes down to personal choice and how they fit on your head etc.
    From a technical standpoint and from listening to them, both are equally good (at least to my ears).

    I’d say go for good sound quality and Comfort. I have a friend who says the V moda lp2s are great headphones but as for the Ai Ai Ais i really can’t say.

    I’ve got a pair of AIAIAI’s and they’re fantastic. I’ve heard good things about the V Modas as well, but I couldn’t be happier with the TMA-1s.

    I’m probably a little late to this discussion but I won some Pioneer HDJ-500s in December last year. In about May this year cracks started to appear in the headband and I can now say they are literally held together by electrical tape – and I’m not even a real DJ (just a home one!). I’ve heard similar experiences from a lot of people so I’d say be very very careful with them if you go with the Pioneer. Sound wise I love them but my experience with headphones isn’t very broad. Hope that helps.

    Using electrical tape to hold your gear together makes you REAL! 8)

    So are the Sony 7506’s durable for most people, or is it common for the ear cushion to come off after time? I have about 28 days left to return the pair I purchased this week. I also like the budget of the headphones, but if there are some that are better build and more durable for DJing please let me know. I may actually keep the Sonys and get another pair as back up. Hmmm.
