I think your Mission statement as an opener is OK.
The Vision statement is already too much goals in it, which should come later in the business plan.

For a Vision give more of what your main goals are to offer people and what your unique selling proposition is, but keep it very very simple.

For example as a Vision statement a paper in Arizona I consulted as a marketing pro had one simple sentence:
We aim to deliver the best local news we can, to offset us against world news agencies like CNN.

Now of course DJing is a tad more complex, but go along this line of thinking for the Vision part.

Been busy with the vision statement which I just need to have looked at please.
Also to Terry_42 a big thank you for helping me in writing my business plan and teaching me how to do it for when I change it within 6 months.

    Vision Statement
We provide a great DJ service with audio and video services and we have the music to an enjoyable level where some other DJs like to play loud music. We enjoy playing music for all groups of people as well as the disable people.
Selling point line Be able to DJ in OAP homes as no one is doing it.
    Thanks again.

    David.

Sounds quite OK, however I think you should a native speaker have it check again. I am not native in English but I sense some grammar errors and in a business plan this should be rock solid good grammar.

Unless we need to add more to the Mission Statement or Vision Statement of the business plan here is the Business opportunity

My business will start to take on more DJs to do more parties and there will be a host for each DJ to help them set up gear, take any songs people would like player and getting the DJ drinks for longer gigs. I will now offer to teach my DJs for free, but take money from other people that would like to get into business. I enjoy taking people on to do magic shows.
I will allow people to volunteer for me as they help me and I can help them for free.
If the money is there I can sometimes do a gig for less money like for RNLI or RSPCA.

Let me know so I can then think of what to make better or change what needs to be change.

    Thanks for the help.

So let me just clarify for my own benefit. A Business Plan isnt required to start a business, but it is highly suggested to have one for personal use so that you have a guideline for success, basically right?

Indeed, you can just sit in your home “office” and start a business without as much of a letter on paper. To be succesful, you need focus, clear goals, good understanding of what opportunities you intend to capitalize on and what obstacles you expect to counter on that road. You need a mission statement, a one-liner that tells anyone asking what you do what it is you do, without reverting to minute-long explanations. If you ever need financing (banks or investors) they will expect you to have a good business plan (although they will only like to see a 1- or 2- page investment summary outlining what they have to put in and can expect out of it and how you plan to accomplish that.

So, the long story short, a businessplan will GREATLY enhance your chances of succes, by focussing your attention and efforts and forcing you to think in advance about what you are going to do and how.

    Greetinx.
