did i waste my money on sdj05s?

It kind of defeats the object of having the nice remote control and the Pioneer speakers if you buy a mixer to switch sources, but I guess you could just unplug the remote.

Having a mixer gives you flexibility but it’s “one more box”. This is the standard way to mix separate inputs to send to one set of speakers, though.
