    I do like the look of this deck but couldn’t wait for it. Let’s see what the price is I may sell the s2 and get one:) why no pro 2 ?

    Thanks Phil ! Thought I’d try to lighten your load a bit !

    I like the lay out and size although I thought the spec would be similar to the XoneDX
    but it seems that maybe in order to keep the costs down this unit will have fewer features which is
    a shame. I really would have liked to have seen XLR out and separate sample buttons
    (that’s just purely my preference for the way I mix).

    Looking at the second pic I can’t make out where the sample buttons actually are. With the S2 they’re
    overlapped with the “CUE”, but on the MC3000 the “CUE” are numbered 1-8 . Are C & D sample decks ?

    Simon didn’t you just recently purchase the S2 ? Has it not lived up to you expectations ?

    Just a few clarifications.
    I think and hope that the MC3000 has balanced phono out and not unbalanced.
    If I am right, then all you need is an converter Phono to XLR that does not cost much.

    And then you have XLR balanced out…….
    (I do on the other hand agree that it is a pitty that Denon does not have XLR out as they always uses to)

    C & D are Deck C/D or Sampledeck depending on what you have chosen in your software.
    Traktor 2 pro can have 4deck then C+D is decks, 1 sample deck Then C or D is sample deck and the oune that is over is a regular 3rd deck. Or 2 sampledecks then C+D are sampledecks. I do not know if it is the same on T2 and LE but T2P and T2SP has this funktion.

    So if you chose to have A+B as regular decks and C+D as sample decks all you do is push button for C or D and then the 4 cue buttons will be for sample decks I suppose. And if not you can always map them or you can have separate buttons
    for sample decks if you map the four buttons that is fot the EFX for example….
    Also if you want it all and still want Denon there is the MC6000 or SC2000.

    In the 18th os Nov next week Denon comes with the press release and I do think the full spec.
    Then we will know for sure…..

    I’m enjoying the s2 guys but I do use the mixer alot in and out the shed so want a swan flight case for it . I just like the feel of the metal chassi on the 3000 it feels more robust, I will now dout stick with the s2 for a good wile .

    Hey thanks for that video Hessler !

    It was exactly as you said, he was using C & D as sample decks and firing it off
    using the effects buttons. Really nice looking unit.

    Can’t wait for Phils review of this.
