    After finding your thread on the Serato forum, I’d say follow what the Serato mod posted about getting a support ticket started and keep the SL1 & old macbook you have until it works. They’ll try to work with you about finding out why and who knows, you may be the cause of an update.

    Indeed, so far I only heard good things about the DS1 and El Capitan. So it might be a specific model problem that they need to patch. Serato is usually really good with their support tickets. Best of luck to you.
