Just an extra question guys. I may want to intergrate my DN D9000 CD/MP3 decks with the DN-MC 6000 and laptop, just to be able to use cd’s if the laptop ever crashes………………so is there a coffin or alternative set-up that anyone could recommend for me that would house them all?

    Much appreciation, Colm G

You may be able to get a custom case made, I’ve done that before.

Now that i’m living in Ireland, it’s so bloody difficult to get any gear over here (Finally just got a site that would ship me the DN-MC6000!), so who would I look to for custom cases Phil?

Again, thanks so much for this help ๐Ÿ™‚

Anyone who rents DJ gear out will definitely point you in the right direction.

I shoved paper into the caps of a Numark analogue mixer where the caps were loose, cured it permanently, its still going strong now

i,ve been looking also at the controllers/mixers the denon did seem cramped but good build quality. numark ns7 was too big and effects were an option and a separate unit. but the ns6 is the bomb! but eventually when the 4 channel video/audio mixer comes out you,ll want that too. numark does have a two channel audio/video mixer for about 1grand. i,m a newbe so do your homework before you buy. check out numark ns6 for sure!

Cant say this enough! Digital DJ Tips is the best thing since sliced bread!

I am saving up for a new controller to buy end of the year to replace my VCI 100, so the S4 caught my eye, especially that it is basically a plug and play controller. I was also excited about Traktor Pro2 especially the sample decks and other bells and whistles, seeing that I want to start playing around more with samples and looping and effect, and take my djing up to the next level

Enter the Denon, well it is Denon what can you say durable never say die equipment, although I was worried that I wont be able to use Traktor pro 2 with it. And now some guys on here say you can and that they are doing it?

So my question is is it easy to use the denon with Traktor Pro2? Is there alot of mapping involved? Or should I just get the S4?

I use my Denon Mapped to traktor Pro 2 and Virtual Dj Pro 7 with zero problems. It works seamlessly with both programs. and the fact that it doubles as a mixer makes it more than worth it in my opinion.

Yes the MC6000 can be used with any MIDI software, I have mine with T2 but I have a friend who has VDJ on his laptop and we tested it with my MC6000. It was plug and play ๐Ÿ™‚ And worked very well.
When you look at it it looks to be cramped but when you use it it really isn’t.
The layout is very good and the sound is amazing:-)
I also hat two other friends who baught the MC6000 and both of them uses T2 and are very happy with it.
Denon has a good mapping for the MC6000 T2 included in the latest sw update…..
