It’s not meant for DJ booths and is designed for “consumer” DJing. It’s too big for most DJ booths and believe me when the lights are all flashing on it it looks really out of place in a pro environment.

It’s perfect for family DJing but for pro use I wouldn’t recommend it.

I would recommend you to also take a look at Denon MC3000 or MC6000 before deciding….

They are IMO a bit better in quality than S2/S4…

Are you going to review the ddj ergo Phil ? I bought a Reloop mixage as my first ever controller and am enjoying learning on it . Even girlfriend is learning to mix on it . However she took one look at the ergo and went ” I want that one “!

I told her that it is a bit weird that it has been out a few weeks and as far as i can tell there has not been any proper reviews of it .

(ps sorry for hijacking the thread )

Yes a review would be nice, as I’m still thinking about buying one.

But as you say it’s too big for most dj boots, then that surely will count for the traktor s4 as well? At least the DDJ ERGO has the possibility to shove your laptop under it.

Seriously??? Not “Professional enough”? Come on Phil, you sound like a Dinosaur, besides, the top acts are running monomes, lemurs, ipads, APCs and other “flashing light” equipment.

If you aren’t using 2 phonographs you aren’t DJing :p
