I did a couple of other ones too, like Zedd’s Don’t Slam The Door vs Daft Punk’s Technologic, which then runs into DeadmauFIVE and Wolfgang Gartner’s Animal Rights vs Azaeaeaealia Banks 212. Those two tracks one after the other work pretty well.

Not sure if it’d be any use to you Spot-Trix, but I have a little demo mix on soundcloud that has a couple of interesting mashup type tracks. If not for the mix, the list of tracks/mashups might be of use, although sounds like you’re not short of ideas yourself! :p

Just downloaded every single one of your mixes, I am in class but I will be sure to listen to them and see if I can learn a thing or two man and btw love the name haha Twiicx..makes me crave delicious beats

I’m American, so I like to spin a lot of electro-house 🙂
I like to bring down the levels pretty low, and slowly put in the part of the song where you here the heels clicking, banging on the door, cell phone ringing ect ect (about a minute in or so). I always get the “what the hell is this?” looks from the crowd, but its just slowly building them up. It gets louder and louder and louder until finally the women says “You Blocked Me on Facebook, and Now Your Going to Die!” and it drops. People go absolutely nuts.

Holy shit I heard this on one of Kaskades huge live mixes and loved it haha thank you so much for the song ID man that was a track I was looking for

I agree, but the VIP of internet freinds is absolutely monstrous.

This song probably the most amusing track of any set i play, just from the early reactions of everyone (note: that the majority of my gigs are all college scene and basically obsessed with hiphop) I just take a short breather as the music gets quiet, then the cell phone goes off and at least a dozen girls are mind f***** as to where the ringing is coming from. and if im feeelin the energy ill let her get all the way up to “and now youre going to die” INSTANTLY i cut to “KILL…” (drop) from Kill The Noise (Dillon Francis) 🙂

Agreed, it is so sick. I use the VIP mix usually more than the original

spot-trix if you want another good list of possible tracks to mix, http://www.mixcloud.com/twicx , and have a look at the tracklisting on the demo mix. 😉

For me, my sets are usually in sections (Start with some slow-ish hiphop, ease into moombahton, then drop some EDM/Electro House, fade into dubstep, and end with crazy DnB) – a mix that always makes me people lose their absolute shit is going from Raise Your Weapon to the Noisia remix of the same song. It makes a good transition from 128 to 140 bpm, and the drop in the remix just makes the place go crazy.

As far as ‘Internet Friends’ goes, about everyone around here has heard the song to death! Since I knew they’d probably shrug it off if I played it, I dropped this the night I played my first gig at an EDM weekly with intentions of playing a House/Electro set. People went absolutely insane! The dance floor was pretty much dead and before I knew it everyone in the place was dancing!

Amazing remix.
