    I gave this mix a few listens and imo it might be your best one so far. Maybe less IS more? 🙂 It all sounds like one big part, which obviously is meant as a compliment.

    Only thing I noticed though is the transition between Icicle’s Late Hours & Lost Hours at about 10 mins and the one from Dustup to Captive at 15:35? Sounds like it’s a tiny bit off beat at those points. But since you’re mixing on CDJ’s it’s something that can easily be forgiven.

    Otherwise this is a very nice mix Kiss! I think you’ve chosen some of the best tunes that are currently out there on Beatport.

    I don’t know the genre that much but from listeners point of view I enjoyed the mix. And I hear much more self-confidence after you had your first gig.

    Thanks FleXE! Yeah i know the beats were off slightly a couple of times, but as you said it’s alot harder when you can’t see when to drop a track in 😉 Will be working on another one soon though for sure, with lots more of the dark heavy stuff! 😛

    And Fic – Thank you very much buddy, i know its not everyones cup of tea but i appreciaited you taking a listen! I definately feel much more confident now i’ve played out a couple of times 🙂

    Finally had a chance to listen. Nice mix! The songs flow together quite well, which says something about your song selection and mixing technique. Keep it going like this and I can only expect more people will be enjoying your sounds.

    Buildup at the start is very good and song selection is even more on an energy line than before.
    Some small skips of beats here and there give it personality and it is within limits I would say, so nothing problematic.
    The only transition that I do not like that much is the one about 9:40 I think. While “making a hole” can build some tension, in this case I feel like I was “left alone in the shower” for lack of better expression of feelings hehe
    The downtune around 11:30 was much better and picked me up again (I was saved in the shower hehe).
    Love what you did 12-20min is outstandingly good and it made me standup and wanting to dance.
    The only thing I did not like about the last 2min was that it ended there 😉

    Overall again an excellent mix, some bumps down the road, but most clubbers wont even notice.

    Thanks very much guys, i will be recording a new mix soon as i’m going to be entering a Drum and Bass DJ competition! Knowing that my choice of song selection for this one is pretty good, it’s definately given me some ideas for my next one. 😉 I’m going to get it right this time though! Can’t afford for any beats to be out of place if i have a chance of being selected!
