I went out to the shops quickly to buy a new cable and it still doesnt work, it seems that the problem is thge speakers themselves, i will give them back tomorrow and see what happens. (yes the speakers are connected tpo the mains btw)
Back in the anologue days i once stripped down a mixer with a dodgy channel, only to find once id stripped it and moved it the sound came back… I looked for dry soulder joints on the master outs but could see nothing but every time i touched that are the sound came back…
Swapped the RCA leads and yup, the fault swapped sides.
The lesson i learned was check the leads when any fault shows up
[COLOR=#333333]I would just like to say thank you very much to everyone who has helped me on this thread, The problem was the speaker itself was faulty even though i bought it brand new in the box! i got a new one now and everything seems to be working perfectly. You guys have helped me out becuase it is such a good quality product and it shows the importance of buying a brand name you can trust!
