It’s why I am sooooo happy with digital. Both my remaining vinyl and most of my CDs are in either cardboard boxes with no system whatsoever or in some kind of plastic stacking cases

And frankly, for the once or twice a year I really need my old physical music, it’s kinda fun roaming through the boxes and crates.

My CD’s are all on a huge shelf in the front room… hidden up high getting in the way..

I have ripped them all into my personal (not my DJ) itunes library so I don’t use them any more…

    Should of added as well….

At the moment, currently have all the CD’s I want/need ripped into my relevant libraries.

Since I am fully digital now, all my CDs are in my basement in a great many boxes and I would have absolutely no idea what is what and where to find anything 😛
I would sell them, but then I would have to delete some songs… so I keep them there in case someone wants to see physical evidence that I own the songs…

I have CD wallets on a shelf. All the jewel case inserts or digipaks are stored in a cardboard box. Both are organized alphabetically by artist without regard for genre. This setup takes only a fraction of the space necessary to store my collection in their cases. I have a small stash of empty jewel cases in the event I sell or loan out any CDs.
