Yes Crane Plus has the same construction as the pro but the following things were made to make it cheaper:
– It is steel and not aluminium, which makes it more heavy
– It does not have an additional tablet you can clamp between the risers
– It does not come with a bag
– The finish is obviously not hard anodized and time will tell if it chips off more easy (like in the standard)
So it is a great price for such a good machined piece, for long time pro use I would still go with the Pro stand however…
