    Depends on your software to begin with. If Traktor, then best choice is S2. If anything else, then both SB and MC2000 will do, but also the Mixtrack Pro 3 and the Beatmix 2.

    It’s important to use the software that the controller was made for (otherwise the jogwheels won’t respond as tight as they can) and use the right settings (sharp crossfader curve, etc.). When those boxes are ticked, all controllers mentioned above will do. I hear very good things about the jogwheels on Reloop controllers specifically.

    Yes, many people like the Reloop jogs despite or because of their low form factor. Personally I prefer the higher jogs. Everyone is different. That is why we recommend, after picking two, max. three controllers for our shortlist to visit a store if you can and get some hands-on time with them.
