    I’ve seen that the Vestax Typhoon is good, affordable, has an audio interface and nice jog wheels. If your child is going to just start, then it will be fine. The problem will arise when he becomes overwhelmed because of too much control, of overgrows it quickly. The Vestax is not too complicated, so that should be good for some basic stuff, and I guess that the supplied software should suffice.
