Only the Pioneer controllers have that mechanism for their jogwheels.

    Hey cheers,
After a couple of months researching, I went into a store and tested it, finding out that the shift button allows you to quickly skip to cue far into the track. Pioneer CS couldn’t find this out, or many other shop assistants, as Pioneer mentioned afterwards that the feature isn’t in the manual.
What a great device though, I ordered one which will be arriving next week!
Beats the VCI-300 for me, as that appealed because of it’s better build, but the Ergo is far more functionable despite the light build quality, a pleasure to use and way more efficient.
Got a Viao i5, 15.6″ 6gb ram laptop coming too to power it along with traktor pro 2 so it’s going to be a fun week!
So I’ll be looking into striping down all the programs that take up the cpu to make it efficient for DJ’ing only, along with a battery upgrade for good life when taking it out.
Now alls left is to tag all my mp3s and ripped vinyls in wav, if thats possible with wav of course. I’m looking into the best way to organize my collection but I suppose I’d know better after playing with it (ie, SONG/ARTIST or ARTIST/SONG and the best free program for tagging loads of files) , although that’s another topic of course 🙂

an i5 with 6gb of RAM is massive for Traktor. You could probably browse the net and and watch a dvd while playing and not get skips . No need to strip it back too much
