    Yes the DDJ-SX also works as a standalone mixer.
    I would take the S4 if I would use Traktor (which I don’t).
    You need to first make up your mind about the software you do want to use.

    I love Dubstep and i prefer Traktor after seeing the layout compare to Serato. I saw from a website that Mixdeck quad and DDj-sx supports Traktor as well, is it true? Can they work perfectly or some functions will be missing? Mixdeck Quad can be a standalone mixer as well?
