Actually some smaller clubs I know have already gone the way, that they do not provide anything but a small house mixer so you can transition from one DJ to the next and plug in your controller. They are way ahead I think, and I think this will be the future of club setups.
Why should a small club invest 5k in a CDJ setup, when they can have a 200 bucks mixer and invest the rest in a better PA and lights?
