    Hi Sunny (I recommend changing your username to avoid spam if that is your email address)

    either cable should work for you (i know people have used the griffin one to great effect DJing off a ipad) – in VDJ 7 simply select the “laptop with y-cable” option in audio settings, in VDJ 8 just click on the “stereo to mono splitter” option in the audio settings (or configure it manually if it doesn’t work)

    Yeah, cute eh? Your regular earplugs will do for impromptu gigging. All you need is a decent length 3.5mm jack to two RCA cable to hook up to speakers, PA mixer or whatever and you are good to go!
