The MCX8000 it is a fully featured Serato Controller, but if you detach the laptop you can still DJ from USB sticks that are prepared with Denon Engine Software (similar to Pioneer Rekordbox).
The Denon is actually even better standalone than the XDJ Pioneer series as it allows for 2 separate Mic channels and built in F/X are 3 channels each side. Plus the whole thing is fully Serato DVS compatible if you ever want to add turntables.
So I had no chance trying this controller yet, but it is damn sexy as deathy put it and it may be the top thing for Serato guys to get.
