    Actually the best speaker stands I found to be self made.
    Get a shelf and 4 adjustable feet for kitchen installation from IKEA. Mount the feet on the shelf and adjust the feet to the height you need. Put some isolation material between the shelf and the speakers. -> Done. I use those for years now and did not find any such stylish stands for home use, since you can color and paint this stuff to your liking.

    As for laptop stands… I am a fan of Crane. Yes they are insanely expensive, but also insanely good.

    I scooped up a pair of these on Ebay…

    Rockville RVSM1 Pair of Near-Field Studio Monitor Stands

    Just do a search for them. I think they were about $50-$60 for the pair

    I had a similar thing like the Rockvilles for like 2 days (gladly I could send them back). They were much to rattling for me. The IKEA self made stands are much more stable and with a single foam pad to decouple the speakers is enough. I put like 3 pads on the other stands and they were still vibrating coloring the sound…

    I use an “Ultimate Support Hyperstation” laptop stand. I found the crane ones and other were too small for my giant a laptop, but this thing does the job.

    I think the new Hercules stand is something to consider. There is a new Crane stand on the horizon as well.

    As for monitor stands, I have home-made as well (filled with lots of sand which dampens vibrations and weighs a lot making them solid).

    They need to be heavy and solid, I wouldn’t go for anything with just one “center-pole” if you know what I mean. Height adjustable could be a bonus, although most are made for the right height.

    I have the isoacoustics for my Rokit6’s
    Beautiful, more solid than they look and I’ve never had a problem with them for the year I’ve had them.
