    No, Traktor doesn’t duplicate things, it just notes where they are. But Traktor is very clunky with iTunes, nowhere near as good as djay or indeed Serato – I’m afraid you’ll have to accept that and work out your own system.

    As a user of both Serato and Traktor Pro (and Pro 2), I’ve never found iTunes integration to be that great. I’ve also found that iTunes sometimes rejects my purchased MP3s. Your best bet is to either go one way or the other. Either manage everything in iTunes or manage it all in Traktor.

    The thing I hate most about Traktor’s music management system is that it reads the root name of the file and that causes me issues every time I import new tracks from my music folders. Even if I changed the name or details of the track, it would reset back to root name.

    Any suggestions regarding this matter? Am I missing something or doing something wrong here?

    I do think and hope that NI knows that this it a big issue and that they will take care of it in further updates 🙂
