    I have the mixtrack pro and use it with traktor. Absolutely love it. Only downside is it looks a little toyish, so when i start playing at other events than house parties and uni bars, il upgrade to something else. But value for money I think it’s great.

    I believe Beatmix comes with VDJ LE but can also work with Serato and I’ve seen video of Traktor software being used with it. Can the Mixage work with all 3 softwares as well or just with Traktor? I’m ready to pull the trigger on either of these, but don’t know which one to go with. The Beatmix has couple of outputs vs 1 for Mixage. But then Mixage has UV meters and Beatmix doesn’t. I’ve also read that with Mixage the knobs for the eqs don’t really kill when you turn them all the way down compared to the Beatmix.

    So which one should I go with if I’m just going to be mixing trance and progressive EDM with really no use for scratching as far as the jog wheels go.

    600, the beatmix is going to be better quality faders and knobs… It also has absolute knobs in the effects section and the crossfader is is the best on a controller… GET THE BEATMIX

    Just go buy any cheep controller with what ever software it comes with play with it for some time if you still have a passion for DJ’ing in 6 months go buy a controller based on how you DJ no mather what you choose to buy now. in a short time you’ll want to upgrade because of limitations of the one you choose. No one of us can make choices for you I might like a controller and you might hate it. but you should really just download some demos and play around using only mose and keybard before you even think of a controller.
