    It is possible to get the grid correctly. But there are skips in the beat 3 times in the song. So I needed 4 beat markers. This makes the song almost unmixable if you want to mix in synced loops. Maybe I should have bought the club version of the song.

    That’s one of the reasons why it’s important to learn manual beatmatching too, so you can forget beatgridding and ride the beats by ear is such circumstances.

    I agree with you that every digital DJ should learn to do it manually. It wouldn’t help much with this version of the song, though. Three times in the song a part of a beat is just skipped. Mixing in and out of the song is easy, but the middle is dangerous.

    This is definitely one area where Serato excels over Traktor…
