I have a udg ultimate digi back pack and the MIDI obe is not far off the same size so pretty sure all that wont fit.

My 15 inch laptop just fits the back section.
    I take
    Laptop plus tray
    Ipad
    Audio 6
    x1
    Cables
    Cds
    Headphones
    And its pretty full

The UDG is pretty much bomb proof. I have not tried the others.

Thank u for taking the time to reply Mat and Terry 🙂

Going by what Mat says, the UDG won’t fit all my gear. So I’ll have to prolly rule it out, despite its excellent build….

Also, having recently seen Phil’s review of the Digi Control Backpack by magma, it seems that too won’t fit all my required gear…

Another suggestion I received was the Magma multipurpose bag….

It seems choosing a bag is harder than choosing a laptop :3

I have the Magma Riot XL, and while there was a little weird cracking of the material around the main zipper (appears to be cosmetic more than anything else), it is approaching the one year mark and other than that one thing is still holding up quite well.

Not sure of the S5 dimensions, but I carry a ton in it:

    – Denon X1600 mixer (with Decksaver)
    – x2 Reloop Neon (in foam cases)
    – x2 Denon SC2000 (in foam cases)
    – Crane Stand
    – 13″ laptop (lots of space left in that pocket for a much larger system) w/ mouse
    – 10 port USB hub
    – Shure SM58
    – all cables & cords
    – my kitchen sink (okay, not really)

It’s heavy as hell but hasn’t crippled me yet. Next time around I’ll probably get something with wheels – I’m thinking a hard shell suitcase with custom inserts to hold gear. Loaded the way I have it an airline wouldn’t even let me near the cabin with it, but it’s mostly the mixer that and extra casing on my gear making the whole thing so thick.

I previously used a Big Namba Studio bag, and the quality of that thing was unreal. You may also want to look at Fusion bags – they look super cool.
