    If it works OK, don’t!

    If you can manage withoutit and think it is worth the risk, try it.
    I would suggest you to bring it in on service, but I do think it will cost more than to buy a new one
    so I don’t suggest that.

    If you take it appart:
    When you pull it appart, be carefull tol lay the screws in the order you pull them out
    so that you know what is the next screw when you put it together again….
    And be very careful, be sure to pull out the plug and when put together be careful when you put in the plug!

    ^^^ What Hessler said, but..
    If you do take it apart, here is an old Auto mechanics trick..
    Once disassembled and the case or cover is off, put all the screws BACK in to the holes that they thread in to, where possible, and if knobs or controls had to be removed, place them back on too.

    And definitely the last point.. Unplug before inspection! I have forgotten the number of electrical belts i have got off faulty dj or sound gear in the dark distant past, its a miracle im alive today when i look back…
