    Why would you?

    Usually in 99% of the countries in the world, the venue owner or manager is responsible for all taxes and licensing fees other than your income.

    So as long as you play legally obtained music you should be OK.

    I have DJed quite a few times in Canada, especially Toronto and never have been asked for such a license, so unless they made new laws in the last 4 years, Canada is no exception to the above.
