Whilst not strictly audio (or really a super-beginner thing), but getting MIDI clock out of Traktor, through an Audio 10, was an absolute nightmare, for some reason Traktor couldn’t find the MIDI-out port of the soundcard (this in the middle of a gig). I was supposed to play with a mate that night (him synced up to Traktor’s master clock, playing with Ableton), but he had to play after me, cause I couldn’t solve the problem. I still can’t figure out what the problem was, when I got home and plugged everything in, it all worked perfectly.
