    It depends, if there’s something that will not sell if a newer version with the same price is announced, the prices will go down. Actually it depends how good the company is with inventory turnaround — a good company will stuff just enough units out there so when the new model arrives very few old units are out there.

    It’s really case-by-case, you need to follow various online companies to see if they suddenly have a bigger price drop as having units taking space in their warehouses costs them money.

    I would expect things like blowout sales of the NS 7 as soon as the NS 7 II is available, since it is a direct successor. But apart from such things I do not expect lower prices throughout.

    PA speakers do not really lose their value as there’s not a whole lot newer systems would offer to make the old ones obsolete.
