    A stuffed pikachu….. just in case the power cuts out at the venue im playing at I can grab my pikachu and yell “Pikachu I choose you!” In the silence of the music cuts out. I have yet to use this tactic but yet I carry the pikachu around so its now like a good luck charm but if that moment ever does happen ill be ready.

    A small power socket with three outlets…so that I surely have enough outlets to plug my laptop and controllers.

    earbuds to block out annoying dubstep or the sound of the room when djs are red lining mixers before your set.

    Also extension cords (I saved a party friday night by running 90 feet around the entire dance floor when the power kept cutting out..

    Duct tape and extra cables is also an other crucial thing someone already mentioned..

    always important especially when people have to setup a serato box or bands need to borrow the pa for their sets and have to unplug cables for the amp..always bring a light.

    Ear protection. Very important. Even if you don’t turn up the levels high, the DJ before you or after you most probably will, and might not even listen to you if you ask them to turn it down. So for times like those ear plugs just might be the reason you still have your hearing intact. 🙂
