    No…it’s hard in America to catch European sports of any kind.

    Plenty of boring baseball (especially with the Cubs losing all the time), football in the fall, basketball, and the small oasis of hockey.

    I wish I could more easily catch stuff like F1, IHF, and the Premier and Champions Leagues. Just costs too much to get something on the TV or net. 🙁

    Well you didn’t miss much today, very boring race. I used to watch hockey last year cos I had a canadian housemate, got really into it. Haven’t been able to keep up this year though! The mens’ olympics final in vancouver was incredible 😀

    I dunno what it is…but I still think European media in general is better. The news isn’t so messed up as it is here in the US, and the programming choices have more variety. I even think radio is better over there since they’ll play a true “shuffle” and not just recycle the same 20 songs every hour.

    Maybe I just have a bias.

    depends on the radio station, but you should be able to get BBC radio 1 online which is pretty reasonable.

    We certainly have fewer adverts than you guys! The F1’s on the BBC so it’s totally uninterrupted, even if the program ends up going on for 6 hours like it did 2 weeks ago in montreal.

    I was Fortunate to be able to watch all 17 (or was it 19) Races last year; and I Promised myself I would do the same this year; but unfortunately I have only seen 2 of the Races this year; and both times Sebastian Vetel won; so I thought it was a bit Boring;
    However I Wish I had seen the 6 Hour Marathon you talked about in Montreal 2 weeks ago 😀 😀

    I actually went to the race in Barcelona this year, and Vettel won there too 🙁

    I keep telling myself it can’t last forever…

    Wow; Barcelona to see the Formula 1 !!
    What a Dream that would be 🙂 🙂 :);
    Yes; I would like to see Hamilton or Button start Beating Vettel;
    I Loved seeing the Success of the Team Hamilton/Button drove for last year; but a bit of Variety from Red Bull would be handy;

    Edit:
    I Remember now … it was the Braun Team 🙂

    Yep, but it was only Button driving for Brawn in 2009, along with Rubens Barrichello. Lewis has been at Mclaren since he was about 12 lol.

    i caught the one a few days ago, it was on network here in the states which made me go O.o but I’m not one to argue with a good thing.

    Ain’t it the truth. I never even turn on the radio anymore, I would love to have something like BBC 1. I like how they had formula 1 on network in HD, but the gold cup final on an obscure soccer channel in low def. :rolleyes:
