Just wanna give you a head’s up to prevent too big of a disappointment.

Current pricing here in Holland is about the equivalent of 880 GBP for two new WHITE ones. Personally I’d never be interested in getting somethings that is only 90 GBP (20%) cheaper per item than new. If I were to bid on these (which I won’t :-)), I’d be starting my bidding slightly above half price, say 500 and probably max out at 550, MAYBE 600 if I really wanted them. Anything more I’d save up a bit longer and get new.

I hope for you that 700 is in the stars. But if reactions/offers/nice bids stay away, you might have to adjust your strategy a little to accomodate a quick sale.

    Greetinx,
    C.

p.s. I wouldn’t buy 350s at any price anyway, but that is a personal issue :D.

Any chance you have a link to that Chuck? Also the White ones look tacky (just my opinion). Pioneer gear can be bought much cheaper in the US, but that doesn’t make much difference to the UK market.

Look on gumtree UK Chuck (Craigslist for UK) and my 350s for £700 are the cheapest in the UK! Just saying…

The cheapest you can find them for in the UK is at £527 each, which when working with £700 you are saving over £300 and buying at 2/3 RRP which is generally what pioneer CDJs keep their value for. In 5 years time they will probably only drop down to 50% price, just look at how well the cdj 400s sell, and these are arguably worse than the 300s and older.

If you want to get comfortable on CDJs, then I really see this as the best way to do it. Buy 2nd hand, use for a few months, sell for what you bought them for, and in theory you have rented a pair of CDJs for free.

I honestly much prefer my Traktor set up, but I could now smash a set out in a club using USB or CDs.

I’m not trying to rip any one off, and people are welcome to make offers!

Yeah, cheapest and biggest Dutch online store http://www.bax-shop.nl. Price will probably be the same as european online reseller http://www.thomann.com (I think that’s the address anyway). Wow, you brits apparently have it worse than wedo pricewise. I’d say you picked a well consisered price level for your market. Good luck with the sale!
