Never worked a strip club. and only been to one twice in my life.

Since I don’t get off on lapdances, I did take time to observe the DJs and what they do. It’s really just playing tunes for a set period of time, and making announcements. I don’t really hear any blending even, since things are so start-and-stop for the timing of the paid dances.

It might be dispiriting to know that nobody has come for the music!

i have done gigs at a strip club twice and i enjoyed it lots of banter with the girls (oh the girls!!) and the punters which was fun musicly it was mostly top 40’s with a few rock/country songs thrown in for good measure,
When i went there i was told that the songs needed to be between 3:30 and 4:30 long and no more or less and blending was not really a issue it was more cut and fade stlye mixing, by the end of the night i had not only the girls dancing but the punters (male and female) dancing around and had a amazing night both times unfortunately it was only sick cover for there regular dj but i am hoping to get his residancy off him when he quit’s…

I dj’ed a strip tease contest at Burning Man, it was fun, but felt so so dirty afterwards. Probaly would not do it again.

I never thought of that. Yet, one local celebrity DJ does a Monday night in one. Sometimes, I think people pay more attention to “the scene” than the ladies.

I sometimes think with the popularity of gogo dancers, that some club might try combining a normal club night with strippers. Maybe no nudity and toss in male dancers for the ladies. So it becomes a more erotic evening.
