That would suggest you don’t have the correct mapping installed rather than any issue with your laptop, but we’re not in a position to test that for you from here unfortunately. Anyone else suggest anything?

But surely the correct mapping comes with the supplied software?

Yeah I don’t know why it wouldn’t. Very basic but just in case, have you got “External Sound” selected in the sound configuration menu? And did you install the software before connecting the controller?
