Thanks Phil
I always planned to go with Traktor Pro 2 which I know the TWITCH also works with, but having said that I have never actually tried Serato ITCH. The main point of concern for me in the jog wheels (or lack of) weather it would be good for a beginner to learn on a touch strip, or practise on jogwheels and move on up from there. In terms of the buttons that the S2 lacks is no problem as I plan to map my Korg Nano Pad and Axiom 25 to the functionality of Traktor that the S2 can’t handle. I guess the only other downside of the S2 is lack of aux ins (except a mic) and loop recorder but I’m wondering if this would be a big deal for a beginner? I hopefully plan on playing in clubs with it eventually.
The only other advantage of the TWITCH i can see apart from its compact size, multiple aux ins and emergency out is that it works with both ITCH, Traktor and also Abelton live which could be a plus
I guess its down to the jogwheels, as all the other things can be worked around, I don’t want to jump in too deep on the touchstrip and find out I should have started on jogwheels, but then again, it might be a lot easier than I’m thinking
Really appreciate you advice Phil
