Yes you can run timecodes through the hercules mk4 soundcard.
You will need some timecode vinyl, I use serato CV02 with VDJ Pro, but traktor mk1, numark virtual vinyl (vdj), ms pinky*, mixvibes*, pcdj* are all supported as well as generic 1000hz and 2000hz settings.
*Note – I have never heard of anyone using the last three successfully and tried torq on version 6.03 with no success, haven’t tried since, so best to stick with the first three.
then plug the turntables outputs into the hercules inputs and ground them on the the ground metal knob. Finally make sure you change the input type selectors to “phono”
Now the hardware is sorted go into vdj’s config and choose inputs as “timecode” and you will then be able to use the vinyl to control vdj’s transport.

Don’t expect good performance from the turntables belt drive ones are absolutely terrible for mixing.
