May I ask why you want to go for monitor speakers if you just want them to listen to music ?
Monitors are designed to produce a “flat” or “uncoloured” sound and are generally speaking more robust than home hi-fi speakers because they have to be able to cope with unmastered sound as you might get in a studio. Hence why they are specifically designed for audio mixing and mastering and why they’re generally more expensive.
If you are just going to be listening to compressed commercial recordings and not doing any of the above then I would recommend that you save yourself the money and go for home hi-fi speakers instead.
