    Im just looking for peoples opinions whether its on turntables to mixers to cdjs to a controller I just want to know what they think about used gear.

    I’d wager at least half of my DJing equipment is second-hand. Both of my turntables, my mixer and my laptop is second-hand (what can I say, macs are expensive…). And it is a bit of a gamble, most equipment you can check if it’s in good working condition or not (turntables for example), others can be a bit more difficult. My mixer recently failed on me, but since I got that ( + two other mixers) when I bought my turntables, it’s not that big a loss.
